Welcome to the SEG Student Connection!

You have found the right place on the Web to take advantage of the opportunities available to you in the geophysical community. CGG Veritas/Paradigm and the SEG invite all full-time graduate or undergraduate geoscience students who attend a recognized university or college to enjoy a free membership to the society and to become active in a student section.

The SEG Student Connection offers students opportunities to increase their geoscience knowledge, utilize their skills and network with peers, educators, employers and experienced professionals.

The Student Connection maintains a quarterly newsletter to keep our students abreast of events in the SEG community. Students are encouraged to submit articles including their sections activities for inclusion in the newsletter.

News of interest to students

Tell your fellow students: Check to see if your student section has a Member-Get-a-Member Campaign voucher.  SEG becomes stronger each time a new member joins our society. A vital and growing SEG expands knowledge of the discipline of geophysics, creates new networking opportunities, makes our professional association more representative of the discipline as a whole, and advances geophysics. You can be a part of our growth by telling fellow geoscience students about the many benefits you receive from your student membership.

Newsletter: The Winter 2008 issue of the Anomaly has been posted.
